We’re Hiring for the following roles

 

1) Front-end Developer (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated web applications, with a particular focus on Single Page Applications (SPA) that include dynamic mapping capabilities.

This role requires a deep understanding of front-end technologies and frameworks, as well as the ability to design and implement complete solutions that can be deployed on cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.

Job Description and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain dynamic Single Page Applications (SPA) that feature complex mapping functionalities, including the display of various shapes such as H3 grids and isochrones.
  • Package and deploy full applications, ensuring they are ready for deployment on cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
  • Design and implement complete front-end solutions from the ground up, considering both functionality and aesthetics.
  • Extend existing Kepler.gl implementations to incorporate specific functionalities tailored to project requirements.
  • Rewrite and optimize customer-facing pages to efficiently load data from JSON sources using REST API techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with backend developers and UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to apply them in projects as appropriate.

Job Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in complex front-end application development. Preferably within the Geolocation/Geospatial projects.
  • Proficiency in React and Redux for scalable front-end development.
  • Experience with Deck.gl for advanced geospatial visualizations.
  • Familiarity with Webpack and Babel for efficient code bundling and transpilation.
  • Deep knowledge of Typescript and JavaScript languages.
  • Good knowledge of styling languages CSS or/and SCSS/SASS or similar
  • Solid understanding of REST API for seamless data integration and manipulation.
  • Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, for hosting and managing applications.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization techniques, including JWT, to ensure secure access to application features.
  • Experience with graph visualization libraries to represent complex data structures visually.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills in English, team contributor, and ability to work within the EU timezone.

2) Data Scientist and Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist and Analyst to join our team in the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry. As a Data Scientist and Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing EV-related data, extracting insights, and driving data-informed decision-making.

Your work will contribute to understanding market trends, optimizing EV charging stations, and identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Modeling:

  • Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets related to EV charging stations, EV usage patterns, and market trends.
  • Identify and interpret relevant variables, relationships, and patterns within the data to generate actionable insights.
  • Develop predictive models to forecast EV charging demands, optimize station locations, and improve charging infrastructure efficiency.

Reporting and Visualization:

  • Create and present comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders, management, and other teams.
  • Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to effectively present complex data in a clear and visually appealing manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop interactive data visualizations and interactive tools for monitoring EV charging station performance and market trends.

Data Collection and Integration:

  • Identify and acquire relevant data sources, including geospatial, telco, and other datasets, to enrich the analysis and provide a comprehensive understanding of the EV industry.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure efficient data collection, data integration, and data quality management processes.

Hypothesis Testing and Experimentation:

  • Analyze business problems and requirements to formulate hypotheses and design experiments.
  • Develop proof of concepts (POCs) to test and validate potential solutions, assess their feasibility, and provide recommendations for implementation.

Continuous Improvement and Research:

  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in the EV industry, data science, and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Proactively explore new data sources, technologies, and methodologies to enhance data analysis capabilities and improve EV-related insights.

Core Skills and Competencies of this role: 

  • Proficiency in Programming Languages in Python and “R”.
  • Data Manipulation and Analysis are mainly/preferred with SQL.
  • Statistical Analysis and Machine Learning.
  • Data Visualization (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, and Seaborn).
  • Geospatial Analysis (GIS, ArcGIS, QGIS, or GeoPandas).
  • Data Integration and ETL (Talend, Informatica, or Apache NiFi).
  • Cloud Computing (Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure).

Job Requirements: 

  • Excellent communication, and Presentation skills (speaking, reading and writing).
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst, preferably in the EV industry or related domains.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
  • Familiarity with geospatial data analysis, telco data analysis, and data integration techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data to derive meaningful insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

3) Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in geolocation, mapping, and location technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable data infrastructure to support our geospatial applications and services.

The Senior Data Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective processing of geospatial data, enabling the delivery of high-performance location-based solutions.

Job Description and Responsibilities: 

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures for geospatial data processing.
  • Develop and maintain data models to support geolocation and mapping requirements.
  • Implement ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load geospatial data from various sources.
  • Integrate third-party geolocation and mapping services into our data infrastructure.
  • Optimize data processing pipelines for performance, ensuring timely and accurate geospatial data delivery.
  • Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of data infrastructure components.

  • Experience with geospatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, BigQuery, Athena, DuckDB) and geospatial data formats (e.g., GeoJSON, Shapefile).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
